Located on 56 picturesque acres in Buck Valley, Pennsylvania, Capriole Farm German Shepherds combines over 19 years of breeding expertise with a commitment to exceptional care and socialization for every puppy.
Nutrition is a vital part of the upbringing of our puppies and breeding dogs. We use premium, balanced diets tailored to each life stage, from prenatal care for expecting dams to growth-focused formulas for puppies and thoughtful maintenance plans for adults. We support healthy bone development, strong immunity, shiny coats, and sound joints with the right balance of proteins, fats, vitamins, and minerals. We keep feeding routines consistent, monitor body condition closely, and ensure fresh water is always available so every dog thrives from the start.
About Us
For over fifty years Brenda Hendershot has always had a special love for and gift working with animals. She especially loves horses and dogs and cats. She breeds not only fine quality German Shepherd dogs, but was also very successful at breeding world class European Warmblood horses.
As one of the best breeders in the country for over 19 years, Brenda focuses on breeding strong genetics for high predictability for a positive outcome for a superb temperament, correct conformation and coats with rich black and red pigment and beautiful heads and training ability as well as all of the traits the German Shepherd is known for including loyalty, courage and dependability.
We breed all West German proven show lines. Our German Shepherd Dogs have some of the best bloodlines in the world in their pedigree and we continue to produce the best German Shepherd dogs possible.
Here at Capriole Farm German Shepherds we strive to give the best loving care for our Puppies to have a great start in life. Brenda worked as a veterinary technician for almost eight years in her younger years and has a great understanding of the needs of the young Puppies and their dams and utilizes her knowledge for caring for all of the dogs here on the farm.
